What about pre-existing conditions?
If your "pre-ex" conditions are serious enough, carriers can decline to cover you. We can tell you which carriers would be most lenient toward your pre-existing conditions. If you are accepted onto a HMO plan, there are no exclusions for pre-ex. Most PPO plans will make you wait 6 months before treating any condition for which you had received treatment or consultation in the 6 months immediately preceding the policy. In certain situations this 6 month waiting period can be reduced or eliminated.
